We're not Turkey where religious symbols are banned in public: Students on hijab

Senior advocate Devdatt Kamat, while representing students challenging the ban on hijab in educational institutions in Karnataka, said in High Court, "We are not Turkey, which says no religious symbols can be displayed in public." He added, "Our Constitution follows positive secularism...[it] ensures that everyone's religious rights are preserved."
