West Bengal Finance Minister Swapan Dasgupta announced Bharosa Karmosuchi scheme for unemployed individuals aged 21-45 years in 2026-27 Budget. Under the scheme, graduates not having job will be entitled to financial aid of ₹3,000 per month. Meanwhile, unemployed non-graduates will receive an allowance of ₹2,000 per month. He said retired journalists will be entitled to ₹5,000 monthly pension.
