West Bengal CM says dengue situation serious but not alarming

West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari said the dengue situation is serious but not alarming, urging people not to panic. He said around 4,000 cases were reported till August 2026, lower than 7,600 during the same period last year. The state will monitor the situation till November and provide free dengue tests to detect cases early.
