West Bengal Forest Department has enforced a three-month restriction on human activity in Sundarbans, including tourism and fishing, to protect wildlife's breeding cycles. This seasonal restriction, starting from June, also applies to other forms of entry into the area including Tiger Reserve. With these restrictions, the forest will experience a quiet period, important for ecological recovery.
