West Bengal will provide free cervical cancer vaccines to girls aged 14-15 living in red-light areas, starting with Sonagachi in Kolkata. The initiative, led by the Health Department in partnership with Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee, aims to expand vaccine coverage and improve protection against cervical cancer among vulnerable adolescents.
