West Bengal woman who missed football dream now coaches 20+ girls
Bharati Mudi, whose dream of becoming a footballer ended at the age of 16 due to marriage, later went on to train nearly 20 tribal girls since 2009. She trained underprivileged girls in Dumdumi village and personally bought them footballs and boots. Notably, 18 of the players trained by Mudi went on to represent West Bengal at the state level.
