Investment fund WestBridge Capital has raised $1.5 billion to invest in Indian companies, as per reports. WestBridge Capital has backed unicorns such as LEAD and Vedantu, and this is its largest-ever fund for India-focused companies. WestBridge Capital's total portfolio includes as many as 132 companies, and its assets under management in India have reportedly crossed $10 billion.
