The pilot of the Pakistan International Airlines flight that crashed in a residential area in Karachi today told the Air Traffic Control that the aircraft had lost power from both its engines moments before the crash. "We are returning back, sir, we have lost engines...Sir...mayday, mayday, mayday, mayday...Pakistan 8303," he was heard saying before the transmission ended.
