WeWork sues its biggest investor SoftBank after it cancels $3 billion deal

Co-working space startup WeWork has filed a lawsuit against its biggest investor SoftBank for cancelling a $3 billion tender offer for WeWork shares. "SoftBank's wrongful action constitutes both a breach of contract and a breach of fiduciary duty to WeWork's minority stockholders and hundreds of current and former employees," WeWork said. SoftBank had proposed the offer in November 2019.
