Tamil actor Vijay's TVK promised monthly assistance of ₹2,500 to women heads of families aged up to 60, and ₹10,000 for unemployed graduates. The manifesto offered six free LPG cylinders a year. It also promised a sovereign gold coin and a silk saree for every bride. It further said that mothers will get a gold ring for the newborn.
