Uttarakhand's Uniform Civil Code (UCC) law has 74 relations (37 each for men and women) in 'prohibited relationships' list. These mainly involve relationships between blood relatives, extended family members and certain connections spanning three generations. Some of the prohibited relationships for men are with mother's mother's father's widow and daughter's daughter's son's widow, TOI reported.
