The Astra missile, which India will export to Indonesia, is an indigenously developed Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) designed by DRDO. The missile has a range of 80-110 km and can travel at speeds of up to Mach 4.5. It has already been integrated with the Indian Air Force's Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft and Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas.
