Vande Bharat Sleeper train, approved for the Mumbai–Bengaluru route, has 16 coaches with a capacity of 823 passengers, and is capable of reaching 180 kmph. It has a Kavach automatic train protection system and CCTV surveillance in all coaches. It features ergonomically designed cushioned berths, automatic doors with vestibules between coaches, and advanced suspension system to minimise jerks.
