What are flex-fuel vehicles that can run on E85 fuel?

A flex-fuel vehicle (FFV) is equipped with an internal combustion engine designed to run on gasoline or gasoline-ethanol blends. According to the Department of Science and Technology, FFVs deliver improved acceleration when operating on higher ethanol blends. The government on Friday launched E85, a fuel comprising 80-85% ethanol and 14-19% petrol, specifically designed for FFVs.
