Delhi High Court has made Sapinda Marriages illegal citing the Hindu Marriage Act. Interestingly the majority of Hindus do not even know what Sapinda Marriages are, and how to check if their marriage falls under this Constitutional Act. The question also arises if in a modern world there is a place for such things or not?
