What are the 14 risk factors for dementia?

Untreated vision loss and high "bad" cholesterol levels have been added to risk factors for dementia, according to a new report by Lancet Commission. The 2020 Lancet Commission had previously identified 12 risk factors- alcohol abuse, smoking, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, air pollution, brain injury, physical inactivity, depression, social isolation, hearing loss and less education.
