Despite decades in politics, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee owns no land, house, vehicle, or any other immovable property, according to her election affidavit. She declared movable assets worth ₹15,37,509.71 mainly in bank deposits and jewellery, and her income rose 50% from ₹15,47,845 in 2020-21 to ₹23,21,570 in 2024-25. She's considered one of the least wealthy CMs among her contemporaries.
