NCRTC unveiled features of Meerut Metro, set to be India's fastest metro train, on Saturday. The metro will cover 23 km across 13 stations in 30 minutes at about 120 km/h and its route is integrated with Delhi-Meerut RRTS. Meerut Metro are three-car trainsets with ergonomically designed 2x2 transverse and longitudinal cushioned seating. It can carry 700 passengers at once.
