The Indian Air Force (IAF) will formally induct the first batch of the made-in-India Light Combat Helicopters (LCH) on Monday. The helicopters are primarily designed for deployment in high-altitude regions and have stealth features, armour protection, night attack capability and crash-worthy landing gear for better survivability. They can operate at an altitude of up to 5,000 metres with weapons.
