What are the Kamikaze drones being used in the Russia-Ukraine war?

Kamikaze drones, which detonate on impact, destroying them in the process, have reportedly been used by both Russia and Ukraine in the ongoing conflict. The drones, which Ukraine and US say have been made in Iran, are also known as Shahed-136 drones and are made to hit specific targets with explosives. They loiter over their targets until instructed to attack.
