Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah presented his 16th Budget today, in which he allocated ₹1,800 crore for 21 projects under 'Brand Bengaluru', along with ₹3,000 crore to tackle weather-related challenges. Meanwhile, ₹555 crore was also allocated for Phase 5 of the Cauvery water supply project. The CM also said that liquor prices may likely go up in the state.
