Preliminary probe report on Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad stated both engines shut down shortly after takeoff after fuel cutoff switches were moved. A pilot was heard asking the other why he cut off, which the other denied. Pilots attempted to restart engines, but one engine failed to recover despite relight. The probe has also ruled out bird hit.
