The European Union has announced that it has adopted more favourable Schengen visa rules for Indians. Under this visa 'cascade' regime, Indians can be issued long-term, multi-entry Schengen visas valid for two years after using two visas within the previous three years. Following the two-year visa, a five-year visa may be granted if the passport has enough validity.
