A study by Swiss investigative organisation The Public Eye has revealed that Nestlé adds nearly 3 grams of sugar per serving in products of its baby food brand Cerelac. Earlier in 2015, FSSAI found excess levels of lead and no appropriate label declaration of MSG in Nestlé's Maggi samples it tested. Nestlé faced accusations of child slave labour in 2021.
