Problems faced by senior citizens in India include, healthcare challenges, financial issues, social challenges, infrastructure and accessibility, legal and policy challenges. The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation reported that social isolation among the elderly in India is 34%. It added that almost 55.4% of older Indian adults experience loneliness.
