Registration is required only for games notified by the Centre and for all online games intended to be offered as esports under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026. Approved games will receive a digital registration certificate valid for up to 10 years. Online money games will not be eligible for recognition or registration as esports.
