Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that helps the body make DNA, red blood cells, and energy, and keeps nerve cells healthy. The general physical symptoms of its deficiency include fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss and yellowish skin. The neurological symptoms include vision problems, numbness or tingling in feet and hands and having a hard time remembering things.
