Amid an ongoing cold war between administration of Shree Jagannath Temple Puri and Government of West Bengal, the Puri Temple Administration has decided to patent several terms and logos associated with the temple and its rituals. The terms include Srimandir, Jagannath Dham, Mahaprasad, Shreekshetra, Purusottam Dham, Bada danda (main road to the temple), and Nilachal (another name of Puri).
