What causes the Northern Lights?
short by Sanira Mediratta / on Thursday, 1 December, 2016

The Earth's magnetic field and atmosphere react, 'exciting' these atoms and causing them to light up. The light show can also be observed in southern regions and is called Aurora Australis or Southern Lights.
