Consulate General of Spain in Mumbai said tourists need cover letter, flight and hotel bookings, bank statements, ITRs and three months’ salary slips. Business travellers require an invitation letter from a Spain-based company, while sports travellers need one from organisers. No transit visa is required for non-Schengen connections.
