US President Donald Trump signed a funding bill to end US government shutdown. The bill cancels all layoffs of government employees which took place during shutdown and ensures that federal workers will get full pay for the time they couldn't work. However the bill leaves out a guaranteed extension of health insurance subsidies, which was a major demand of Democrats.
