Resilience is the human mind’s ability to return to a healthy state after trauma, similar to an elastic that regains shape once stress is removed. Psychiatrist Dr Sarthak Dave stated that the capacity to forgive or let go reflects mental well-being, while an inability to do so and being fixated on past events indicates disrupted resilience and potential mental distress.
