What happens if a person doesn't vote in Australian elections?
short by Ankush Verma / on Friday, 2 May, 2025
Voting is compulsory in Australia for citizens aged 18 or older who have enrolled to vote. A person is penalised for not voting unless they have a valid reason for failing to vote.
