A report in Times Now said eating small piece of jaggery after lunch helps the stomach relax and improves metabolism. In winters, jaggery helps with gut health and winter coughs and colds and reduces congestion. It is full of minerals like iron, magnesium and potassium, the report added. Jaggery also helps in purifying blood, which reduces skin dryness and dullness.
