What happens when a person sleeps wearing socks?

Wearing socks while sleeping warms the feet, relaxes and widens blood vessels that constrict when cold and helps a person fall asleep faster, the Cleveland Clinic reported, citing behavioural sleep disorders specialist Dr Michelle Drerup. Warming the feet increases blood flow, which helps lower the body’s core temperature, Dr Michelle said. It can also limit hot flashes during menopause.
