The practice by GenZ professionals to not take on a middle management role is being called 'Conscious Unbossing'. According to talent solutions firm Robert Walters, 72% GenZ professionals prefer taking individual routes to progression over managing others. Many believe the stress in these roles is high, there's limited decision-making power, less personal growth and the reward is also low.
