'Door knocking' or 'canvassing' is the initiation of direct contact with individuals, commonly used during political campaigns. The technique is used by political parties to identify supporters, persuade undecided voters and add voters to the voters' list through registration. It is currently being used by US' Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump's campaign and they are also hiring people.
