Man-in-the-Middle cyber fraud attack is a term used when a fraudster positions themselves between two parties by hacking into their conversation either to eavesdrop or to impersonate either of them. Recently, a Mumbai-based company was allegedly cheated of ₹1.33 crore after the emails of two senior executives were hacked and the suspect tricked a client into making a payment.
