A non-profit organisation is running an initiative named "Protecting Women, Preventing Cervical Cancer”, to empower women against battling cervical cancer. The foundation provides free HPV vaccinations to women in rural communities. According to a research by India Human Papillomavirus and Related Cancers in 2021, every year 1,23,907 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and 77,348 die from it.
