UK's Finance Minister Rishi Sunak admitted that he held a US green card for over 18 months after becoming a UK government minister. Officially known as the Permanent Resident Card, a green card grants foreign nationals the right to live and work permanently in the United States. A green card holder is considered a resident of US for tax purposes.
