Keraleeyam, the grand, week-long Kerala Formation Day celebrations, is being boycotted by the Opposition Congress-led UDF and has also drawn the ire of civil society. It comes against the backdrop of the CPI(M)-led LDF government telling the Kerala High Court that the state is facing a deep and acute financial crisis.
