Several southern states led by Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, are opposing upcoming delimitation of Lok Sabha constituencies, saying it'll unfairly benefit northern states. Delimitation means redrawing parliamentary and Assembly constituencies to reflect population changes and maintain principle of 'one citizen, one vote, one value'. A 2002 law had frozen existing borders until first census after 2026.
