A new addition to cyber-crime is e-SIM scams. According to Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C), an activation link is being sent to users' phones. By clicking on it, the phone user is 'trapped'. By clicking on link sent by fraudsters, physical SIM is automatically converted to e-SIM. As soon as that happens, fraudsters take control over your device.
