A Kalash Yatra is a traditional, ceremonial procession in Hindu culture, held to inaugurate festivals like Navratri, or temple rituals. It involves devotees—predominantly women—carrying consecrated water-filled pots (Kalash) on their heads, symbolizing prosperity, fertility, and divine energy (Shakti). Kalash (copper/brass pot) represents creation and is adorned with mango leaves and a coconut.
