ISRO will launch Indian Navy’s GSAT-7R (CMS-03) multi-band communication satellite today. The indigenously designed and developed satellite is India's heaviest communication satellite to date, weighing about 4,400 kg. It'll give robust telecommunication coverage across Indian Ocean Region. It enables secure communication links between ships, aircraft and Maritime Operations Centres of Indian Navy.
