An explosion was what started an accident at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Monday, which saw eight workers being burned alive by 1,500°C molten steel. During casting operations, a crane carrying a ladle of hot crude steel broke, spilling the molten steel onto the ground. About 12 workers, who had moved away just moments ago, had a narrow escape.
