PM Narendra Modi launched LIC's Bima Sakhi Yojana for Class-10 passed women aged between 18 and 70 years. Eligible women, designated as Bima Sakhis, will be provided training and a monthly stipend of ₹7,000, ₹6,000 & ₹5,000 in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively to promote financial literacy and insurance awareness. They can then work as LIC agents.
