London North Eastern Railway (LNER) is a British train operating company that provides long-distance inter-city services on the East Coast Main Line. It connects London King's Cross with major cities in Yorkshire, North East England, and Scotland, all the way up to Inverness in Scotland. LNER is publicly owned by DfT Operator Limited, a subsidiary of the Department for Transport.
