National Testing Agency (NTA) is an autonomous and self-sustained testing organisation set-up to conduct entrance examinations for admission or fellowship in higher educational institutions. NTA looks after a test's preparation to its delivery and marking. It conducts exams including JEE (Main) NEET-UG, UGC-NET, CMAT and GPAT. NTA is headed by former UPSC Chairman Pradeep Kumar Joshi.
