Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya's wedding celebrations started with the Pasupu Danchadam ceremony. For the Telugu ritual, an elderly woman offers a Thamboolam and a coconut to a pestle. This is followed by five married women taking turns to grind the ingredients into a fine powder. The obtained turmeric powder is ultimately used in the bride and groom's haldi ceremonies.
